I'm a sucker for authenticity and there are few true Italian bars with Al fresco seating in the city. Many hear are grabbing a quick coffee and one of their small bites while waiting for a table to Via Carota across the street. (Same owners) We ordered double espresso and latte which came out promptly. Served with a short glass of water was nice . Unfortunately if you're not keen on sugar , Splenda is not an option. We smuggled in Millefoglie with Crema Pasticciera - Italian Vanilla Custard and Puff Pastry Cake from L'Industrie down on Christopher st. The waiter frowned on our take out box and requested we dont eat outside food. 3stars for coffee and +1 star for people watching . PS bar piselllino is expanding towards a bigger space in the direction of Suprema. New signage was already up by late September, 2024.

I had the hot chocolate and it was rich and warm and delicious with a dollop of fresh whipped cream. i also had the rice and the almond cakes. i prefer the almond cake. The service was ok but the experience and ambience was 5 stars. I'd recommend this bar for true itallian small bites and coffee.

Got to sit outside on the sidewalk and enjoy the nice summer breeze while sipping on a bianco sbagliato which was such a vibe. Will be back!

Really nice and quiet spot to get a few drinks. A bit tough to get a table if you don't have a reservation and the drinks are pretty strong! Nice service too.
